Give

Your donations make it possible for Summit to offer life-changing education and job skills to students at no cost to them, and no debt.

Your gift changes lives

Summit Academy OIC assists individuals in developing their ability to earn and to become contributing citizens in their community. We equip students with education, skills and social networks to overcome barriers to economic opportunity. Our fundamental belief is the best social service program in the world is a job!

Our vision is to create a community where adults work, children learn and community thrives. In just 20 weeks, our vocational training programs move students from unemployment or minimum wage jobs to family-supporting careers.

A gift to Summit provides a “hand up” to those working to improve their economic security. Tuition at Summit is priced at $7,050, but because of the generosity of our donors, no student ever pays out-of-pocket to attend.

Systemic lack of access to education and employment has created a permanent underclass for too many in our community. When coupled with the economic downturn brought on by the pandemic, Summit’s training programs and support services are needed now more than ever.

Building Our Future:

a virtual fundraising event

On June 29, 2020, Summit’s Building Our Future event raised more than $583,000 to provide opportunities that build economic empowerment in our community and demonstrate that the best social service program in the world is a job!

Our goal is to reduce inequitable access to education and employment and ensure that everyone in our community has a chance to build their own thriving future.

Watch graduate Nathan Richardson talk about how Summit was the key to unlocking his potential.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps Summit close the gap between the haves and the have nots. Through your support, more families are able to secure a solid foothold in the middle class. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

A very special thank you to the Building Our Future Matching Challenge Fund Supporters.
