Commencement 2026
Commencement is a special time to celebrate the hard work and dedication our students have put in towards the goal of a better career and brighter future.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Royalston Square, 501 Royalston Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55405.
Register for Commencement
Congratulations for completing your training or program. Please check your email for an invitation with a direct link to register for commencement. If your email has changed since completing your program or you have not received an invitation, please call (612) 377-0150 or email marcomm@saoic.org.
Register Your Guests
Graduates can register up to 5 guests while registering for commencement. Please make sure to share your digital tickets from Eventbrite to your guests.
**There will be a deadline to register for physical tickets. An invitation will be sent out once physical tickets are ready for pick up.

For more information regarding commencement please review the commencement packets below prior to the event date.
Graduates and guests will need to check in upon arrival. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and anyone arriving after 6 p.m. will have to wait until the graduates have entered the auditorium and are seated. Detailed information for graduates and guests can be viewed in the documents below.
Check-in details
The Commencement Ceremony will be held in the Royalston Square Event Hall.
Parking & Event Entrance:
Parking entrance for Royalston Square can be found on Royalston and Border Ave. Additional parking can be found in the Farmers Market lot on Border Ave.
The main entrance can be accessed from the Royalston Square parking lot.
Event details:
4:30 p.m. – Auditorium doors open
Guests may check in with ushers and take their seats in the auditorium
ALL cell phones must be silenced
5:30 p.m. – All guests must be seated at this time
6 p.m. – Processional begins
Any guests not seated by 5:50 p.m. will have to wait until all graduates have been seated
