To help tackle climate change at the local level, there is a need for skilled workers. Here at Summit, we are building a climate-ready workforce through our accredited carpentry and electrician trainings. This diverse talent pool will be a huge factor in filling current and emerging green jobs not only in Minneapolis, but throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. Thank you to Governor Walz and MN DEED for awarding Summit with a $400,000 Clean Economy Equitable Workforce grant. We look forward to our continued success in training local talent to support clean energy and energy efficiency work.
