The best social service program in the world is a job.
2025 marked a pivotal year for Summit Academy OIC. It was defined by growth, innovation, and renewed momentum. The completion of our campus renovation and the expansion of training opportunities reflect more than physical change; they signal what is possible when individuals are connected to education, employers, and the support needed to succeed.
As workforce needs continue to evolve, Summit remains focused on preparing individuals for career-advancing, family-sustaining roles that strengthen both lives and communities. This year’s impact highlights the power of accelerated training, employer partnership, and a shared belief that opportunity should be accessible to all.
A Year of Growth and Momentum
This fall, Summit celebrated the largest enrollment in our history. More individuals are walking through our doors, eager to build skills, gain confidence, and pursue family-sustaining careers. Our campus renovation stands as a visible symbol of this momentum, expanding the space where learning, support, and opportunity come together.
Innovation also defined the year. The launch of our Unlicensed Dental Assistant training marked Summit’s expansion into healthcare—addressing critical workforce needs while opening new pathways to economic mobility. Together with deepening employer partnerships across industries, Summit continues to stand out as a regional leader in accelerated career training and workforce development.
Looking ahead, Summit’s vision is bold: to place 1,000 individuals into career-advancing, family-sustaining roles within the next three years. Every student represents untapped potential ready to shape the future of our workforce and economy.
